Hi-Quality Group, a highly reputable privately-owned Australian family company, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Plant Mechanic to join our maintenance team based at Bulla, Victoria.

Our company specialises in quarry operations, resource recycling, landfills and transport and logistics with operations across Victoria and NSW. We have been established for over 50 years and are currently going through a phase of expansion.

Postion Overview

The successful applicant you will be required to perform repairs and maintenance on a range of earthmoving machinery, crushers, screens and fixed plants.

As a representative of the company, you will be the company's eyes and ears and be able to spot and report on emerging problems with the machines you attend for preventative maintenance servicing.

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following:

  • • Trade qualification in Heavy Duty Plant Mechanics
  • • The knowledge and understanding on a variety of earthmoving equipment e.g. CAT, KOMATSU, VOLVO and HYUNDAI
  • The ability to diagnose faults
  • The ability to effectively repair machine breakdowns
  • Be competent performing in routine maintenance
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills including completing all required paperwork accurately and effectively
  • A strong commitment to getting plant going and keeping machinery serviced to the planned maintenance intervals
  • Self motivated and team orientated
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised with a track record of working safely
  • MR Licence (or able to obtain)

You will also need to be able to demonstrate a commitment to a culture that values and implements sound health and safety practices. You must apply risk management strategies when completing tasks in the work environment.
